This qualification is required when application is made to your local licensing authority for a personal licence to retail alcohol in premises including any venue or site where alcohol is sold:
Pubs - Bars - Hotels - Restaurants - Off Licences - Supermarkets - Convienience Stores - Sports & Social Clubs - Night Clubs - Entertainment Establishments - Leisure Parks - Casinos
The course covers :
The Licensing Authority - LIcensable activities - Licensing Objectives - Responsible retail sale of alcohol
Personal Licence Holders -Temporary Events Notice - Police Powers - Protection of Children
Premises Licence - Operating Schedules - Designated Premises Supervisor
The programme involves home study followed by a training day designed to enforce your knowledge of the relevant areas of legislation and enforce any weak areas
A Coursebook is supplied for pre-attendance study and practice questions will be set.
The course concludes with a 40 minute exam consisting of 40 multiple choice questions
