Chartered Institute of Environmental Health
A one-day course designed to enable employees to work in a safe and healthy manner, identify hazards within the workplace, understand the importance of health and safety rules, report potential problems and be responsible for their own actions.
The syllabus sets out the principles of health and safety, but can be tailored to suit the background of the students.
This is generally presented as a one day course (minimum six hours), but may be offered over two half days.
