This twelve hour programme, which complies with Ofsted syllabus guidelines, will develop the necessary skills those working with children may need to deal with everyday incidents such as common childhood illness, head injuries and nose bleeds, to more serious life threatening issues such as breathing difficulty and the unconscious child.

Although the course is not accredited by the HSE, all hsh trainers are HSE accredited and approved.

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be awarded the HSE approved First Aid at Work Certificate, valid for three years
Assessment of competence is on-going practical and knowledge assessment by trainer. Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be awarded a certificate of achievement, valid for three years. Recommended annual skills update.
