"Very organised and professional training organisation, very anxious to ensure that high standards are maintained with regular monitoring of trainers and assessors. The course I observed was an excellent demonstration of FAW training by a very knowledgeable and competent trainer"

Under UK Health & Safety law businesses must demonstrate that every effort has been made to minimise the risk of accidents in the workplace. However, even in the most conscientious establishments accidents can happen and people can sometimes fall ill.
Workplace First Aid planning covers the arrangements that must be in place to ensure that those in need of help receive swift attention. Legislation requires the provision of adequate equipment, facilities and procedures. Trained First Aid personnel are key to this planning. First Aiders must have a valid certificate of competence.
Many small firms may only need to make minimal arrangements to comply. However, this will depend not only on the number of personnel employed but also the level of risk of any particular job. Although organisations may have no legal responsibility for non-employees, the Health & Safety Executive strongly recommend that the public are included in any First Aid provision. Firms must assess what First Aid training is required and what level is needed to adequately cover each work area and possibly each shift.
HSH, an HSE accredited First Aid Training provider, will work with you to assess, design and deliver the level and type of training suitable for your organisation helping to ensure your business is legally compliant to HSE standards.
Our First Aid instructors are all experienced in their field, delivering the syllabus' as approved by the Health and Safety Executive and surpassing their standards for First Aid training.
Courses are designed for those who may have designated responsibility for First Aid at their place of work, those with responsibility in sports clubs or organised events, or for anyone who has an interest in First Aid and who would like to know what to do when they find themselves in a position to help others.
